Vanilla Chai & Pear Bundt Cake

Get into the Fall mood with this delicious & fragrant Autumn inspired Bundt Cake!

We will flavor the cake with real chai! Hand ground in a mortar & pestle (a grinder works too!).

Cream together butter, sugar, brown sugar, & ground chai. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.

In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda & powder, salt, and sugar. Add a little extra cinnamon too!

Add the dry ingredients to the butter mix, alternating with one cup of whole milk.

Beat until well mixed!

Butter and flour your Bundt Cake pan. Make sure to get into all the nooks & crannies!

Slice 2 ripe Bartlett pears into 1/4 inch thick slices.

Add a small layer of batter to the bottom of the pan. Next, nestle your pear slices into the batter

Spoon the rest of the batter on top of the pears & smooth. Tap the pan firmly to get rid of bubbles

Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert. Cool completely.

Top with powdered sugar!
