Vegan Cinnamon Nut Breakfast Bars
1/2 tsp salt + 1 tsp baking powder + 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour. Mix
Add the flour mixture+ 3 tbsp brown sugar + 1/4 cup shortening + 5 tbsp coconut milk. Mix on low.
2/3 cup chopped pecans + 1/2 cup toasted coconut + 1/2 cup cinnamon sweet bits. Mix on low.
Mix until combined. Don’t overmix. Cinnamon bits will fall apart. Preheat oven to 350- degrees F.
Place the mixture on a SIS (simple is smart) parchment sling pan. Bake @ 350F for 12-15 minutes.
Remove from the oven. Cool for 30 minutes before removing from the pan. Cut when completely cooled.
