Vegan Split Pea & Ham Instapot Recipe - 25 minutes
Special ingredients you’ll need: 2 cups dried split peas, 2 cups veggie broth, 2 cups water, 1/2 package vegan ham

1 cup chopped onion , 1/2 package chopped Tofurky Slices, 1-2 cloves minced garlic

Sauté onions slightly in 1 tbsp oil (you can dump all ingredients in at once and skip sautéing if preferred)

Add half the amount of chopped tofurky. Save the rest to sprinkle in later

Add the peas and coat in oil . You can actually dump everything in the pot and give it a mix at the end. But I just like cooking this way.

Add broth + 1 cup water. Season with 1/4 - 3/8 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp onion powder and 1/4 tsp garlic powder. Adjust to taste.

Bay leaves

Close and lock lid

Cancel sauté and set to 20 minutes of pressure cook. Normal pressure.

Once done, release Steam

Put back on sauté mode & add more water if too thick. I used about 3 1/2 cups total in this recipe

Taste & re-season if desired

Add the rest of the ham
