Walking From NYC’s Financial District To Midtown
Start at the Fearless Girl Statue on Broad Street. It was installed in anticipation of International Women’s Day!
Walk past the Trinity Church which was built in 1790. It was the tallest building in NY until 1890! 🤭 It doesn’t compare to our buildings today!
You can’t miss the incredible Freedom Tower that serves as a reminder of what our city & country went through in 2001. It will take your breath away!
Stop by Westfield World Trade Center - a transportation hub + shopping! The architecture is incredible!
Mosey through the streets of SOHO known for its elegant buildings, every store you could ever need and hip restaurants.
Once you make your way up to Union Square, stop for some book browsing at Strand. They have used books for cheap outside & everything else inside!
Union Square has an awesome market Friday through Sundays. You can get lots of fresh, local produce, baked goods and flowers!
Flatiron is another wonderful neighborhood known for its recognizable skinny building. Grab lunch at Eataly and sit outside in the park.
We’re almost to Midtown! You can see the Empire State Building off in the distance! The streets are getting busier and there’s more corporate offices.
The Empire State Building is by far the icon of NYC. At the top you’ll see an incredible view of Manhattan that will take your breath away!
We’ve made it! The New York Public Library is a beautiful place to browse and sit outside with your lunch.
Enjoy a cold drink or some food in Bryant Park which is just behind the NY Public Library. It’s a little pocket of peace in the middle of Midtown!
