Cook farro until tender. Set aside.
Place chopped kale in large bowl. Sprinkle with salt and massage.
Kale will turn bright green and become slightly wilted (this makes the kale less bitter and tender)
Place farro in large bowl. Add kale, Gorgonzola, bacon, pecans & pears.
For the dressing combine olive oil, balsamic, maple syrup, fig jam, garlic, onion, ginger & sage.
