Water Propagation - Trailing Pothos & Philodendrons
Materials: fresh cuttings, gardening shears, rooting hormone, and fresh jar of water
Pick your favorite trailing plants to propagate.
Trim off stem above a node using gardening shears
Clip off foliage on the bottom nodes; keeping only a couple of top leaves
Dip cuttings in rooting hormone and set them in a jar of fresh water to root
Change out the water once a week with fresh room temperature water.
Be patient and try not to stare too intensely looking for roots 😝
In a month’s time you’ll have a nicely rooted plant! You may Pot your plant in soil once you see at least 3 inches of roots.
