Hello! Here are 3 napkin styles for casual & formal dining settings that are easy & fun to make.
1
1. Fabric Napkin Ring
Cut your empty paper towel roll to 1.5” long.
2
Cut your fabric 3” wide and long enough to wrap around the roll and overlap by an inch.
3
On the wrong side of the fabric, slather with Mod Podge for fabric.
4
While still wet, wrap fabric over the roll and press the excess to the inside. Done!
5
2. Jute Napkin Ring
Smear Mod Podge allover paper towel roll cut to 1.5” long.
Start wrapping your jute, staying as close to the previous row and as taunt as possible.
6
Keep going! You’re almost there! 😁
When you’re near the end, smear mod podge along the edge and lay jute flat. It will dry clear.
7
3. Leather Napkin Ring
Cut a leather triangle 1.25” wide, 6” long.
8
1/2” from the wide edge of the triangle, make a slit 1/2” long.
9
2” from the tip, cut a tiny slit on each side of the triangle. Make sure you don’t cut off the tip!
10
Pull the skinny end of the triangle through the slit and twist so the small slits lock it in place.
