I made Vol-Au-Vent

Marinate some boneless chicken with soy sauce; salt; pepper; and some oil

Melt butter, pan fry the chicken. Shred and keep aside

Chop up mushrooms. Sauté them. Keep aside

Melt butter. Add flour. Add stock & cream. Let it thicken. Add mixed herbs, mushrooms & chicken.

Roll out puff pastry & cut large circles

Using a smaller cutter, cut circles in half of the prepared disks

Brush egg on bigger circle and place ring on top of the big circle. Egg wash. Poke base like shown.

Bake at 350F for around 25-35 mins till golden & crispy (each oven temp varies)

Pour 1 tbsp of the chicken-mushroom mixture onto the prepared puff pastry. Garnish with parsley
