Whole Wheat Apple Galette
What you need

Blend flour, brown sugar & cinnamon in a food processor

Add frozen butter cubes and pulse til resembles coarse pebbles

Add water, tablespoon at a time til it resembles coarse sand

When pressed together dough should stick

Form a dough ball and roll in wheat bran

Press flat and refrigerate at least 2 hours

Peel, core and thinly slice apples

Mix with lemon juice, zest, brown sugar and cinnamon

Roll out dough into 10-inch circle

Arrange apple slices leaving 1-inch border

Fold up dough edges

Bake in 375 F degree oven for 35-minutes

Let galette cool at least 1 hour before serving

Serve alone or top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream
