AP Flour
5 tbsp for dough and filling
Raw Cane Sugar
1/4 c. For dough and 1 1/2tbsp for glaze
Milk
1/2 Cup Water
2 tbsp. For dough and 1/4 c. For filling
Butter
1 packet
Instant Yeast

Large egg
2 tbsp
Cinnamon
1 pinch for filling, 1 tsp for dough
Salt
1/4 cup
Dark brown sugar
1/4 c.
Sliced almonds (optional)
1/2 tsp.
Almond Extract
1 1/4 tsp
Vanilla Extract
1 tsp
Orange Juice & Zest Of 1/2 Orange(Optional)

Preheat your oven to 200 degrees

Melt 2 tbsp butter, 1/2 c water, and 1/4 c milk together in a bowl. Allow 3 minutes to cool.

Add 1/2tsp. Almond Extract, 3 tbsp. Sugar and yeast packet. Whisk to combine.

Allow about 4 minutes for the yeast to foam in the liquid mixture.

Combine your flour and 1 tsp of salt in your mixing bowl, and slowly pour in your liquid mixture.

Mix until almost combined, then add 1 egg. Mix about 3 minutes or until dough pulls from the sides

Turn your dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 4 minutes.

Place your dough into a lightly oiled bowl and let rest 5-10 minutes.

Mix your filling: 1/4 c. brown sugar, ouch salt, 2 tbsp. cinnamon, and 2 tbsp. raw sugar.

Turn your rested dough onto a lightly floured surface, or stretch and pat to 1/4 thick rectangle.

Spread room temperature 1/4 c. Butter over dough. Sprinkle with almonds (optional) and filling.

Roll tightly and remember to pinch your seam!

Slice into 10 pieces with a serrated knife. Turn off your oven.

Place the rolls in a pan and cover lightly with plastic wrap. Let rise in the oven for 20 minutes.

Remove the pan and preheat your oven to 375. Return the pan & bake the rolls for 15 minutes.
