PIONEER YOSEMITE HISTORY CENTER - Nearly a dozen unique structures stand here, each showcasing a different time & chapter in Yosemite’s history.
SENTINEL DOME - This 2.2 mile round trip hike gains 400 ft in elevation before a short scramble to the best 360 degree views overlooking Yosemite.
GLACIER POINT - One of the most popular spots in the whole park...make sure to visit Washburn Point & the horseshoe bend road on your way here.
TAFT POINT - Located west of Glacier Point, a 2.2 mile hike will lead you to an overlook 7700 ft above sea level, many consider the best in the park .
ROOSEVELT POINT - The trail between Taft Point and Sentinel Dome leads to one of the most stunning viewpoints looking down on the valley below.
POHONO TRAIL - Take a part of this spectacular trail for just a few miles or the entire hike for a strenuous but beautiful 13 miles one way.
WAWONA SWINGING BRIDGE - While not the famous valley swinging bridge, an easy 3/4 mile hike will take you to my favorite hidden Yosemite bridge.
TENAYA LAKE - This chilly alpine lake is surrounded by beautiful granite peaks and it sits 8,150 feet above sea level.
TUNNEL VIEW - Located just outside the Wawona Tunnel on State Hwy 41, Tunnel View requires no hiking. This is a quick must stop spot in Yosemite.
OLMSTED POINT - Get amazing views right from the parking lot or take the easy 1/4 mile trail and explore a little longer.
LEMBERT DOME - This granite dome rock formation soars 800 feet above Tuolumne Meadows. The parking & trailhead are located just off Tioga Road.
TUOLUMNE MEADOWS - One of the largest high elevation meadows in the Sierra Nevada, it sits 8,600 feet above sea level.
SIESTA LAKE - This secluded lake is a little gem located on Highway 120, the Tioga Road.
TIOGA ROAD, HWY 120 - Climbing above the valley with breathtaking views, this road cuts through the mountains at Tioga Pass & closes in the Winter.
YOSEMITE VALLEY - There are so many amazing spots here you could spend a whole trip exploring the valley.
WILDLIFE - Along with the points of interest, a true highlight of Yosemite is its beautiful wildlife. Find a quiet place and enjoy the beauty here.
