Slice 1½ pounds of apples 🍎
Add apples to a parchment lined Dutch oven
Add: 1/4 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon cinnamon Stir to coat
1 cup flour, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp salt Stir to combine
Work 1/4 cup cold butter into dry ingredients to create a crumbly meal
Add 1/3 cup milk. Gently combine to form a dough.
Dollop dough over the apples.
Use 7 coals on top and 14 coals on bottom for 350F.
Bake 30-40 minutes until golden.
