Wash and measure blueberries. Remove all stems.
Add blueberries, sugar, and a 1/2 cup water to heavy pot.
Cook on medium high heat, and remove any stems that appear.
Turn to a simmer once the mixture boils.
Mix cornstarch with 1/4 cup cold water.
Stir cornstarch into blueberries and simmer for 15 minutes. Mix in lemon juice.
Pour into sterilized glass jars and refrigerate.
