Balochi Tikka: Karachi Street Food
Soak your chicken in water and 1/2 tbs of salt for 30 minutes

Add 2 tbs of coriander seeds

1 tbs of cumin seeds

1/2 tbs of red chili pepper

1/2 of Garam Masala

1/2 of tandoori masala

1/2 of Karahi masala

1/2 tbs of chaat masala

Blend all the spice together. And set aside

Chop your garlic finely

Chop your ginger finely

Take 6-7 green chili peppers and make a small slit on them

And a hand full of cilantro and finely chop.

And juice one lime or lemon. Set all these aside.

Add 1 cup of oil and add your chicken in the cool oil. Then turn up the heat to medium.

Add your green chili peppers and fry for 3-5 minutes

Then add your ginger and garlic and fry for another 3-5 minute.

Now add your cilantro and fry till the water is evaporated and just oil is left.

Keep frying till it’s golden.

Once golden strain all the oil out!

Add your spices. I added by 3/4 of the spice blend. Stove should be off.

Add your lemon juice.

Then cover it and let it soak in everything for 3-5 minutes.
