Main ingredients: 4 tomatoes, 4 onions, 3 cups rice, 1/2 kg mutton & National Bombay Biryani Masala.

Heat 1 1/4 cup of oil.

Add 4 medium, thinly sliced onions to the pan and fry till they’re light brown.

Add 1/2 kg meat.

Add 1 1/4 cup of beaten yogurt and 2 tbsp of Ginger and Garlic paste.

Add 4 medium, thinly sliced tomatoes.

Add 1 packet of National Bombay Biryani Masala and cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes.

In a separate pan, boil rice with 3 tbsp of salt until 3/4 done.

When the meat is half done, add 2 potatoes and 3 green chillies. Cook on low heat.

In a separate pan, make a layer of rice, put a layer of meat and cover with second layer of rice.

Sprinkle a bit of food colour as needed.
