Brussels Sprouts Gratin

Prepare your ingredients before you begin.
Heat 1T butter in a large skillet over medium. Add Brussels, salt & pepper. Cook 7-9 min til tender.
Add Brussels to greased casserole. Return skillet & add 1T butter, shallots & garlic. Cook 2-3 min.
Stir in heavy cream. Cook 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan and half the Gruyere.
Pour the sauce over the Brussels sprouts and toss to coat.
Top with the remaining Gruyere and pistachios.
Bake, uncovered, for about 15 minutes or until the cheese is hot and bubbly and the top is browned.

1/4 cup, roughly chopped
