Chicken Manchrian As Promised!
Chicken breast 750gcubed, red chilli powder 1/2tsp, Chinese salt 1/2 tsp, soya sauce 1 tbsp vinegar 1 tsp,hot sauce 1.5 tbsp,chicken powder 1/2 tsp
1 egg and 1.5 tbsp of corn flour marinate for an hour atleast .shallow fry 2 mins each side just to give a light coating.
In a wok add 3-4 tbsp of oil add 1 tbsp fresh garlic and ginger paste and 3 cloves of chopped garlic fry till light golden.
Add the half stir fried chicken to it and toss for 3-4 mins.
Now add 1.5 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp of Chinese salt( optional but makes a huge difference)
Now add 1 tsp of red chilli flakes and 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder mixed together can alter according to preferred spice levels
Add 1/2tsp of white pepper, 2-3 tsp of chilli sauce of choice,1 tbsp soya sauce
Fry the sauces together to get a bright red colour.
Add 1 tsp of chicken stock powder check salt levels and add if needed.
In a bowl mix 1/2 cup tomato and 1/4cup chilli garlic ketchup and 1/2 tsp vinegar and add to the Manchurian.
Mix all the ingredients and you will have a thick sauce.
Mix some corn flour( 2 tsp in 1/2 cup water) add corn flour slowly till you get your desired thickness.
Now add 1/2 to 1 cup of water depending on preference of gravy and let it boil. Then slowly add corn flour and keep mixing.
Till we get a nice thick gravy. In the end add Jillian cut fresh ginger 1 tbsp and sprinkle crushed black pepper and a few drops of lemon and serve!
