Country Sausage and Cabbage
Brown sausage link slices in a little olive oil. Stirring every couple of minutes.
Cut onion into slices.
Chop, clean, and drain one head of cabbage.
Cook bacon in 425 degree oven until crispy.
Strain sausage with the Pampered Chef Scoop ‘N Drain.
Add onion slices to the same hot oil. Still on medium heat.
Add cabbage to the sautéed onions. Cook with lid on, stirring every five minutes.
Add bacon drippings from the sheet pan.
Chop six slices of bacon with the PC Food Chopper.
Add two cloves of garlic with the garlic press.
Let it cook for about 30 minutes, covered, stirring every five minutes.
Add the cooked sausage back to the pot and a good dash of salt and pepper.
Add more salt to taste! Enjoy!!!
