Yarn Needed: Main color of project, Green for stems, Chosen color of tulips, Hook size based on project and yarn size
Special Stitches: Trfp=treble front post, 3dc cluster, Embroidery=Daisy stitch
Start with a base of two dc rows in your MC. You will start the stems of the tulips in the 3rd row. This will be on the right side of your work.
Begin row 3 with MC. To make stem, change to green in last st made, treble front post=yo twice, insert hook around post of dc 2 rows below.

Yo, pull through 2 loops, yo, pull through 2 loops

Yo with your main color, draw through last two loops. Dc with your main color however many sts you want between your tulips.

Rep for how many tulips you want with the same amt of sts between each, changing colors as you go. Fasten off both colors at end of row.

Rejoin your MC,on RS, dc until you reach stem, yo with new color, insert hook in st, yo, pull through, yo, pull through 2 loops (2 loops on hook).

Yo, insert hook in same st, yo, pull through, yo, pull through 2 loops (3 loops on hook).

Yo, insert hook in same st, yo, pull through, yo, pull through 2 loops (4 loops on hook).

Yo with your MC, pull through all 4 loops (1st 3dc cluster made)

Continue across the row, with 3dc clusters in top of all stems, changing colors and carrying the yarn with you as you go.

Embroider Daisy St for leaves: With yarn needle and green, insert needle through back of work at base of stem.

Make a loop however long you want your leaf, insert needle back where you started then back out on top of loop.

Insert needle on other side of loop, pull through to secure.

Repeat on other side of stem. Repeat for each tulip.
