Dinner Rolls - How To Make A Perfect Yeast Dough
Add 2 teaspoon instant dry yeast, 1 tablespoon sugar in 1 cup warm (40-60 deg. C)milk. Let it sit for 5-10 mins until bubbles form.
In 3 cups of AP flour, add 1 teaspoon salt, 3 tablespoon soft butter, the yeast liquid and 1 egg
Knead the dough until everything is well combined. Then take the dough ball on the counter and knead for 10-15 minutes using your palm until smooth.
Grease a bowl generously, place the dough and cover with cling film. Rest in a warm place for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.
Punch the dough down, form a smooth ball, divide in two. Make two equal logs and divide into 12 equal parts
Form smooth ball with each piece of dough and arrange in a greased baking tray. Cover and rest for 30 minutes until doubled.
Brush the rolls with a beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 deg.C for 15 minutes or until golden. Once the rolls are out, immediately rub butter generously on them while hot
