Easy Brandied Cherry Cranberry Sauce

Stir together cranberries, frozen dark sweet cherries, brandy, brown sugar, cinnamon, & ginger.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer, stirring often, until sauce has a jammy consistency.
If desired, stir in an extra splash of brandy. Cover and chill. Sauce will thicken as it cools.
Store sauce, covered, in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or in the freezer for up to 2 months.
