Ruler
Cut out your pattern. Label one side “A”, the other side “B”.

Cut two pieces each of side “A” & “B”. If you don’t have a rotary cutter, trace & use scissors.

Stack two pieces, right sides together

Sew along curved edge with 1/4” seam allowance. Trim ends. Repeat with your other two pieces.

(Optional filter pocket) Fold 1/4” of one side over to the back and pin.

Repeat. Make sure pinned edges are on the same side of mask when correct sides face each other.

Sew the 1/4” fold, repeat with your other piece.

Stack both pieces, right sides together

Starting at the bottom of the opening, insert one tie, sew and backstitch several times.

Continue sewing around the mask, adding a tie at each corner. Stop at the fourth corner.

Insert the fourth tie when you get to the top of the opening. Sew and backstitch several times.

Snip ends and turn mask right side out

(Optional) Iron the mask

Starting at the bottom of the opening stitch around the mask to the top of the opening.

Finished mask!
