No one will guess these sweet treats are gluten-free.

Prepare the crust and crumble. Bake the crust for 20 minutes.

Prepare the date and apple filling while the crust is baking.

Carefully spread the date mixture over the crust.

Top the date mixture with the remaining crumble, and bake for 15 more minutes.

Remove from the oven, and cool on a wire rack. Cut into 16 bars for serving.

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Serve warm or room temperature.
