Grow Winter Squash in a Small Garden
You can grow plentiful Winter Squash even in a small space

A 1 metre by 1 metre raised bed near a trellised fence is perfect

Plant in rich soil with plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost

As the squash begins to grow, train the tendrils in a loop, holding with a tent peg

Remember to mulch & sink a pipe/pot close to the plant to help watering & keep roots very moist

As the squash keep growing, train them up a trellis

When the fruits get big, support them with slings made from old tights or stretch material
7
Enjoy a bountiful harvest. Cure carefully and they’ll last til next summer!
