Homemade Naan Bread
Make the Starter: Add 1/4 tsp instant yeast into 2 cups all-purpose flour.

Pour 1 cup water. Mix well. Cover & let rest for 4 hours. Can also rest overnight in the fridge.

Once the starter is bubbly & rested. Make the Naan.

Add the starter into a stand mixer. Add 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour + 1/2 cup white whole wheat.

3/4 cup plain yogurt. Don’t use non-fat. Mix on medium for 5 minutes.

Dough will be sticky & cling to the bottom of the bowl.

Cover & rest in the refrigerator for an hour or as long as overnight.

Preheat Oven steel to 500 degrees. Divide the dough into 8 pcs.of dough.

Stretch each pc.out into a round shape about 8-10 inches in diameter & make sure the steel is hot.

Bake for 2 minutes on each side or until browned. It may bubble up a bit. This is normal.

Brush w/ some garlic butter. Serve hot & fresh!
