Take 2 cups whole wheat flour or all purpose flour

Add 3 tsp baking powder. If you are using self raising flour then skip this step

Add 2 cups yogurt to the flour

Knead the dough using hands or standup mixer using the hook attachment

Keep kneading until all ingredients are combined

Place the dough on a floured surface and divide into 8 equal parts

Take a dough ball and spread it using rolling pin on a floured surface, the dough will be a bit sticky

You can also use hands to spread without using a rolling pin in an oblong shape

On a dry frying preheated pan/ tawa, spread the dough

Cook one side for 1-2mins on until bubbles start to appear. Turn and gently press the naan until it starts to puff. Keep cooking until done completely

To keep the naan extra soft, spread with butter and sprinkle with chopped coriander leaves.
