Homemade Pumpkin Puree (Instant Pot)
Use a pie or sugar pumpkin and clean the outside.

Place the pumpkin in the Instant Pot on the trivet. Add 1 cup of water.

Cover with the lid and cook at high pressure for 15 minutes.

Once complete, allow to naturally release pressure. Remove the lid once the pin drops.

Use a fork to check that the pumpkin is tender.

Carefully slice in half and allow to cool.

Scoop out the pulp and seeds (save the seeds for roasting).

Remove the flesh from the skin.

Place in a food processor and puree until smooth - several minutes.

Store in an airtight container until ready to use.
