Homemade Salted Caramel (Easy 5 Ingredient)
Add sugar to medium pot

Pour in water and stir to combine

Turn on heat to medium and allow sugar to melt & it to gently bubble

Until it’s a golden amber colour - gently whisk heavy cream in (it will bubble furiously)

Once the bubbles subside take off heat & whisk in the butter until melted and smooth

Whisk in the salt (omit if you want a plain caramel sauce) and allow to cool before transferring

Liquid gold - buttery smooth and sweet.

Add to any of your desserts or enjoy it by the spoonful
