How To Cook & Store Dried Chickpeas

Soak 3 cups of chickpeas in water overnight

Strain & mix in 2 tbsp baking soda. Set aside for half hour

Rinse off baking soda

On high heat, cover chickpeas with water

Once it boils, remove the foam that forms on top. Keep adding water as needed to cover chickpeas

Lightly press chickpeas against pot to make the shell come off. Remove as much as you can

About 45 minutes to one hour, the chickpeas should be soft & ready

Divide into containers & cool. Freeze & use whenever needed! Will be so much yummier than canned
