How To Fly With A Pet
Decide if your pet is traveling in the cabin or being checked. Choose cabin. It's a lot safer.

Make sure your pet is allowed to travel where you're going. Certain areas restrict pet travel.

Call the airline for specifics. Each airline is different.

Book your flight through the phone and tell them youre travelling with a pet.

For American Airlines, it's $125 each way for a pet.

No health certificate is required for pets travelling in cabin. (Varies with airline)

If you're traveling with an ESA or service animal, there's usually 3 forms.

Doctor's form stating you need the animal
Behavior evaluation form: filled out by you
Vet health form: rabies and vaccinations
Send the forms to the airlines (or notify them that you have a pet) at least 48 hr before departure

If your pet won't fit under your seat, call the airline and request for a bulkhead seat.
