Prep all of the ingredients

Pop one chopped onion into a pan with olive oil

Next add 4 cloves of garlic and 1 red chilli

Pop in 450g chestnut mushrooms

Sprinkle in 1 tbsp Italian mixed herbs

Pour in 800g blended tinned tomatoes

2 tbsp tomato puree

200g broccoli

2 tbsp fresh basil

Season with 1 tsp salt

Finally, pop in 300g (cooked) penne pasta

Stir well and serve
