To build forms for the bench, assemble 2x4s + 2x6s to make panels & screw them together into boxes.

Use 2x6s to make notches on the concrete to accommodate wood beams. Screw melamine to the bottom.

Mix Quickrete 5000 in a mixing tray & shovel the mixture into the mold. Then, add some wood blocks.

Next, fill the forms the rest of the way up.

Let the concrete cure for 3 days. Unscrew the wood panels and remove the molds.

Dig down 2 holes and pat down the earth. Then add 3 inches of gravel to the bottom of the holes.

Wheel the concrete blocks into the holes. Then, place one 4x6 to check to see if bench is leveled.

Add some more gravel to the hole, if the bench is still not leveled.

Next, place the other 4x6s on the bench and give a light sanding.

To connect the 4x6s, use a circular saw to cut grooves across all three 4x6s.

Use a hammer and chisel to knock out the wood chips in the grooves.

Use a circular saw to cut 2x2s to fit in the grooves & screw them in place with with 3" deck screws

Seal the bench with a deck sealer and move the concrete blocks to the ends of the wood bench.
