How To Roast The Perfect Turkey - Christmas Workshop
Get your ingredients ready!

Place the defrosted turkey in a big baking dish. Then, add the onions, carrots and celery.

Generously add black pepper.

Generously add salt.

Add the garlic cloves.

Rub the butter and the Dijon mustard on your turkey. Make sure you cover everything.

Add more black pepper.

Add more salt.

Add fresh sage, fresh thyme and fresh rosemary.

Grab a little bit of everything and add it to the turkey’s cavities.

Pour the dry white wine on top.

Once again, add more black pepper and salt.

Ready to roast! (Optional to truss the turkey). Roast at 375F for 30-45 minutes.

Then, reduce the heat of the oven to 350F and roast until the internal temperature of the thickest part of the breast shows 165F.

Make sure to keep an eye on it and baste it every 30 minutes.

When your turkey reaches 165F internal temperature. Take it out of the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes. Strain the remaining veggies & liquid.

To prepare the gravy, melt 3 tablespoons of butter and add 3 tablespoons of flour.

Cook for 2-3 minutes and add the remaining liquid. Whisk well to incorporate.

Transfer it to a serving dish.

After resting, decorate your turkey as desired and serve.
