Cotton Or Linen Fabric

1/4” Wide Elastic

Scrunchie pattern
Buy
Iron long strip in half, right sides together

Sew long edge together at 1/4”

Iron seam open and turn tube right sides out.

Press tube flat

Lay bow pieces right sides together and pin

Sew bow pieces together, leaving a 3” opening between beginning and end of stitching.

Trim the tip of the bow and around edges. Then turn right sides out.

Iron bow flat, make sure raw edges are ironed in.

Insert elastic into tube. Hold the front and back ends.

Overlap the ends of the elastic 1/2” and zig zag stitch together.

Turn the raw edges of the tube inside and overlap each other.

Stitch the overlapped ends together.

Stitch the opening of the bow closed with a straight stitch or hand sewing.

Tie the bow piece around the scrunchie.
