How To Spend A Fall Getaway In Nashville
Kick off your Nashville visit with a walk down the ‘Music City Walk of Fame’ and find your favourite country legends!
Take your pick visiting a country music museum. I thought the Johnny Cash and Country Music Hall of Fame Museums were amazing
No trip to Nashville is complete without hitting up Broadway Street. This is where all the live music happens
A few places on Broadway of note, are Tootsies Orchid Lounge and Robert’s Western World
Tour the historic Ryman Auditorium to see where country music history was made. This is such a great tour - I’ve done it twice!
Tour the Grand Ole Opry and if you can, buy tickets to see the live show there
Try and book your tickets for the live Grand Ole Opry show at least a week or two in advance as they can sell out (even in off season)
Visit The Gulch neighbourhood for some boutique shopping and eating. I really loved the street art in this area
For the best views of downtown Nashville, walk over the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge. The fall colours here are lovely
Check out 12th Avenue in the Hillsboro neighbourhood for trendy cafes and more street art. Grab a donut from the Five Daughters Bakery
For the perfect fall day trip, head out to Cheekwood. I adored the pumpkin houses, which were still up in November
The grounds at Cheekwood are beautiful in any season. Go early as this spot is a favourite
Hope this gives you some great ideas! Remember to pack a good jacket for fall travel
