Soak 200g imli in very hot water then stir well

Strain into a small saucepan (use a spoon to push the pulp through)

Add the spices and brown sugar and mix well

Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes

Chutney will thicken

Cool and then pour into a jar or pour into a heatproof one then transfer to the fridge when the chutney cools
