Instant Pot Chicken Shawarma Wraps
What you’ll need: pitas, chicken, oil, dill, spices, plain Greek yogurt, lemon juice, cucumber, garlic powder, spinach, Dijon mustard, and tomatoes.
Start by making the shawarma seasoning: 1 t cinnamon, 1/4 t nutmeg, 1 t garlic powder, 1/2 t onion powder, 2 t paprika, 1/4 t pepper, & 1 t turmeric
Coat 2 chicken breasts with the seasoning
Place the chicken in the Instant Pot, drizzle with 1 T avocado oil, and close the lid with the valve set to “sealing”. Cook on manual for 12 minutes
Make the sauce: combine 1/2 c plain Greek yogurt, 1 T fresh dill, 2 T lemon juice, 2 t Dijon mustard, 1/2 t garlic powder, & 1/4 cup grated cucumber
Once 12 minutes is done, let the Instant Pot sit for 5 minutes. Then release the steam by moving the valve to “venting” and remove the chicken.
Shred your chicken
Return the chicken to the Instant Pot and coat it with the leftover juices and spices.
Assemble your wraps with yogurt sauce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumber, and chicken shawarma!
