Instant Pot Tourtiere
Peel and cube 1 pound of potatoes. Add to steamer basket

Pour 1 cup water into Instant Pot. Lower steamer basket into pot. Pressure cook for 5 minutes

Remove potatoes and reserve 1/2 cup of potato water. Turn Instant Pot to sauté and brown ground beef and ground pork

Drain excess grease and then add in seasonings

Pour in reserved potato water

Add potatoes into meat and stir well

Lay a pie crust into bottom of pie tin. Add meat mixture on top of crust. Brush edges with egg wash

Add second pie crust to top and pinch edges together. Cut slits in top of pie crust

Bake for 30 minutes at 400 degrees

Slice and serve
