Add the beef, pork, Pancetta, panko, and cheese in a small bowl.

Season with salt and pepper; combine.

Shape into 45 equal-sized meatballs; set aside.

Season the carrots, celery, and onions; sauté for 10 minutes.

Add the garlic and stir until fragrant.

Stir in the tomatoes, broth, and water.

Pour in the lentils and simmer uncovered.
