Make A Steampunk Bottle With A Hidden Bottle!
Here's my special bottle!
Take plastic wrapper off, clean with alcohol swab.
1
Trace a shape you like for a label and cutout.
2
Apply ModPod and tissue paper.
3
Add label, I decided to tear label edges.
4
Start to add steampunk stuff! Old jewelry, gears, chains!
5
Add stickers, if they are 3D, add a little glue.
6
Close-up time!
Fastners from scrapbooks work great to attach things.
7
When adding a chain, I like to weave it around gears.
8
Add layers of buttons, springs, keys, gears, & more!
9
Decoupage items to place gagets on top. While you wait for things to dry, attach other pieces.
10
For the lid, I applied an old watch and chain.
11
Go over your bottle, add tissue paper as needed.
12
Here's the look!
Clean up edges with x-acto.
13
Use brown paint and water to antique. Add gold paint over, where you want.
14
Gluing cap inside. ENJOY!
