Make Plum & Blueberry Compote
What you'll need
Fresh Ripe Plums 6-9
Fresh Blueberries 1&1/2 cups
1 Cinnamon Stick
Orange Peel 4 Strips
Sweet Wine 2 cups
Sugar 1 Tbsp
Using a vegetable peeler, peel off four strips of orange peel.
Cut plums into quarters and remove the pits.
Add wine, orange peel, cinnamon stick, and sugar to a pot on medium heat. Bring to a simmer.
Add plums to the pot and cover. Simmer for about 3-4 minutes or until the plums start to soften.
Add blueberries to the pot and bring to a simmer for about 2 minutes.
Strain out the fruit, peel, and cinnamon stick. Discard the orange peels and cinnamon stick.
Bring the sauce to a rolling boil and simmer until it reduces by half. Stir frequently.
Cool and serve over yogurt, ice cream, etc. or eat warm!
