Cut and crush ginger. Set aside.

Grab your lemongrass, garlic and chives.

Bruise and crush these. Set aside.

Crush garlic. Set aside.

Gather your spicy spices. Set aside. Next, make the ginger brine!

Add ginger to sugar and spices.

Heat until sugar and salt have dissolved.

Pour over cucumbers.

Nestle everything in there.

Refrigerate for two days and enjoy!
