Maple Pecan Baklawa
In a small pot, add maple syrup, honey, cinnamon, vanilla, salt, butter, water and bring to a boil

Once it’s boiling, lower heat and bring to a simmer until thickened

Filling: crushed pecans & pistachios, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cardamom.

Gently take half of one phyllo sheet, spread syrup and fold into a triangle like so

Brush more syrup (or butter) on top of baklawa and place a pecan on each one

Bake at 350F for about 15-20 min or until golden brown
