Middle Eastern Macaroni
Bring a large pot of water to boil

As well as some tomato paste, then add in macaroni and cook al dente. Drain, reserving pasta water

In a large skillet add olive oil on medium high heat

Add the onions and sauté 4-5 minutes until softened

Add the diced zucchini and carrots and cook another 4-5 minutes

Add the ground beef and cook until browned

I like to drain the fat once cooked

Then add all the spices

Stir and cook another minute

Add the tomato paste

And the crushed tomatoes

Add a big ladleful of pasta water

Simmer for a few minutes

Then add the pasta to the sauce or vice versa

Cook another min until pasta warms through
