Moong Dal Idli With Dal Tadka
1 cup moong dal (yellow lentils) soaked for 2 hours strain the water

Prepare the Idli steamer with 1 inch water and lime juice on medium flame

Strain the water of moong (yellow lentils) dal blend it with few green chilli, 1 tbsp ginger paste

2 tsp of salt make sure no water

This is the consistency

Mix it for 5 minutes

Prepare the tampering few curry leaves, 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp cumin seeds

2 tsp of asafoetida powder in the tampering

Tampering on the moong dal paste

Add few coriander leaves

Grease the Idli maker

Add the 1 tbsp fruit salt or eno in the moong dal paste

It should become fluffy

Poke it with tooth pick or knife if it dry then turn it off

Let’s prepare Dal Tadka (tampering) 3 cloves garlic chopped 2 tsp cumin seeds

Add 1 tbsp ginger, garlic and green chilli paste 2 tbsp of Shan dal masala

Add the boiled dal 1 cup yellow lentils and 1/2 cup pink lentils boil it 1 tbsp ginger, garlic and green chilli paste
