Painting A Boho Design With Dixie Belle!
Boring brown chest in need of a makeover. Let’s use Dixie Belle paint products and create some magic

Proper preparation is essential. Cleaning and repairing before paint.

White Lightning is a powder based cleaner that is dispersed into water. Clean and rinse.

Dixie Belle Mud is a filler to repair missing veneer issues. Apply and wait until dry to sand back.

This helps fill missing wood and marks. It leaves a smooth flat finish for paint when sanded back.

WoodUBend is a bendable moulding that is applied with wood glue. A great way to dress up your piece!

When heated it becomes bendable to fit any surface.

Colors used- Tea Rose, Apricot, Hurricane Grey, Manatee Grey, Mason Dixon Grey, Coffee Bean.

Sand back the Dixie Belle Mud to flat. Prepare for paint.

Starting with Tea Rose. Build the colors out. Let dry and start to layer and pull back for depth.

Using a spray misting bottle helps create movement and drips. Pat back the layers.

Drag the Moonshine Metallics to achieve a textured effect with a spatula.

Add some faded stencils using the colors in the chest. Stencil used is Royal Damask.

Gild the edges with Gold Gilding wax and Chameleon wax in Lilac. Black wax added for detail.

Wax the entire piece in Best Dang Wax Clear.
