Peppermint Brownies
Chop 1.5 ounces unsweetened chocolate

Add chopped chocolate, 1/2 cup butter, and 2/3 cup chocolate chips to a metal bowl

Place bowl over simmering pan of water and heat until melted

Combine in a large bowl: 1.5 eggs, 2/3 cups sugar, 1/2 t. double strength vanilla, and 1/4 t. peppermint extract

Add melted chocolate mixture and whisk to combine

Dry ingredients: 1/3 cup flour, 3/4 t. baking soda, and 1/4 t. salt

Stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients

Fill Brownie Pan wells half full with batter

Bake at 350F for 14 minutes

Cool 5 minutes and then remove from the pan

Frosting: 3/4 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 cup softened butter, 1/2 t. peppermint extract. Beat well.

Stir in 1/2 jar marshmallow creme

Pipe frosting onto brownies and sprinkle with peppermint crunch baking chips
