Photo Backdrop Tutorial
Grab some foam board and let’s make some photo backdrops! They come in all different sizes.
1
Adhesive wallpaper from Amazon or even Target carries some! It’s a bit pricier though.
2
Lay your paper out and cut to fit your foam board. I leave extra on both ends to make sure I get a good fit.
3
Line up your paper and peel a small section on one corner. Make sure your paper stays lined up and gently press your corner down. Take your time here.
4
Continue pressing your adhesive paper down at an angle while pulling the backing.
5
Don’t forget to trim the excess off the edges. I run the edge of my scissors right along the edge of the foam board.
6
It’s complete! These are easy to move and store. You can also do any size! Now you are almost ready to snap some pictures.
7
Grab some accessories for your backdrop. I picked this up at Target for $5.
8
Start snapping photos. I’m indoors using a ring light and my iPhone, but you can easily go outdoors with your set and use natural lighting.
9
Behind the scenes just hanging out at my work station with my portable backdrops.
10
You can make these double sided. Just flip over and repeat steps 3-6 with a different pattern wallpaper or adhesive vinyl.
11
Have fun and share your creations!
