Potato Casserole with Corn Flakes
First, butter your casserole dish.
1
Dice a small onion.
2
Shred your cheddar cheese.
3
I use frozen shredded hash browns for this recipe.
4
Place the corn flakes into a plastic bag and crush them with a bowl or a rolling pin.
5
Mix together sour cream, the diced onions, cream of celery soup and salt & pepper.
6
Mix in the cheddar cheese.
7
Season with salt and pepper.
8
Now add the frozen hash browns and mix thoroughly.
9
That’s what it should look like!
10
Add the hash brown mixture to your prepped casserole dish.
11
Spread it all out and use a spatula to smooth out the top.
12
Add the crushed corn flakes on top.
13
It looks almost perfect!
14
Pour melted butter on top!
15
Now it’s ready for the oven.
16
This potato casserole dish is one of my faves!
You have to make it for Thanksgiving!
