Quick & Easy Chicken Lo Mein
Things that make stir frying easier: a wok, silicone tongs and a silicone cooking spoon
1
Cut your veggies. For this dish, I like to cut the veggies in little sticks. (garlic is minced)
2
Pre-boil your spaghetti to save time. Cut chicken in cubes or long sticks. Measure out your spices.
3
Line up your sauces for easy grab and pour. Stir frying is quick, so have everything prepped before.
4
Add 2T of oil to wok. I’m using avocado oil. Make sure you also have a half cup of water nearby.
5
Add the minced garlic and onions to the heated wok & stir-fry for a minute on medium heat.
6
Now add your chicken and stir-fry until the color changes. Do not burn!
7
Add red chili flakes.
8
Onions should be translucent not brown-If your onions are turning brown, add 2T water immediately.
9
Add the salt and pepper.
10
Add 1T of soy sauce.
11
Add 1T of oyster sauce.
12
Add 1T of Worcestershire sauce.
13
Add sriracha hot sauce. 🥵
14
MIX IT REAL GOOD 🥣
15
Add your veggies and stir-fry for 1-2 min on high heat. SAVE THE GREEN ONIONS FOR GARNSIHING!
16
Add your boiled noodles. And add a little more sriracha hot sauce.
17
Now mix mix mix! This is where the silicone tongs come in clutch.
18
Add a little more sauces and salt/black pepper, adjust according to your taste!
19
Add the green onions that you saved! And add 1T of sesame oil.
20
PLATE IT AND ENJOY!!!
